The lightweight cartridge ZHM Paint Flow Meter is designed to handle base paints, fillers, transparent and water-born coatings. It may also be used for wax, adhesives and other viscous media. The models in this paint meter range are manufactured to be light enough to be installed directly onto the robot arm behind the spray nozzle and have extremely rapid purging properties with no "paint traps" and flat O'rings to facilitate accurate, high speed paint changes.
The standard ZHM Paint Flow Meter version has a carrier-frequency pulse amplifier which provides a highly accurate calibrated output. This can be displayed or converted by our electronics or else fed directly into a PLC. For applications in electrostatic spraying systems the fibre-optic amplifier option FOP 60 is available. The fibre-optic principle guarantees interference-free signal transmission. All pick-ups are available with ATEX IS approval for use in hazardous zones.
